I’m Rodrigo Osornio the author of this blog. I’m a San Francisco-based product designer with training in visual arts and industrial design. I’m passionate about shaping the future of human-technology interaction. I currently work as a product designer at Pinterest.
As a product designer, I know how to transform problems and ideas into final products that will delight the users. This process requires not just creativity and observation, but strategy, knowledge, communication, management, and business approach. My background is in visual arts, industrial design, innovation, usability, and user-centered design. I am passionate about creating products and how people interact with them. I’m interested in topics like interfaces, grids, typography, illustration, coding, AI, future trends, and of course, in humans.
I have worked as a visual designer, as a consultant for Fablabs, in product design agencies, for startups, design consulting firms and tech. I occasionally write about design, culture and technology.
